Winter Quest runs from the 24-28 July 2025. Participation in the Hogsback Winter Quest (“the Event”) is free and open to all visitors. By participating, you agree to these terms and conditions.
There are 3 parts to the Winter Quest.
Only the main quest has ❄ points. Points will accumulate as players scan QR codes at designated locations. Points will be shown under your username on the public scoreboard. Try to get the most points to win prizes. Only points collected between 24-28 July will count.
Photo competition and side quests do not earn points but have other great prizes.
Winners for the main quest will be determined based on their final points tally at the conclusion of the Event.
Photos are only eligible for prizes if they have the right # tags and are taken at the right spots in Hogsback. They must be posted online before the 29th July. Make sure you're following @spiltmilkcomics so we can see your entry!
Side quest winners are individually based on the task involved.
Winners will be announced on 30 July 2025 and shared publicly on social media.
If the organisers cannot reach a winner due to invalid or false contact information, or if a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible runner-up.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. Prize winners are responsible for contacting the prize sponsor directly to redeem their prize and confirm details such as expiry dates or conditions of use.
Winter Quest, SpiltMilkComics, and the Hogsback Tourism Organisation (HTO) are not liable should a prize sponsor close, relocate, go out of business, or otherwise be unable to fulfil the prize.
Participation in the Event is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
The organisers (Winter Quest, SpiltMilkComics, and the HTO) accept no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage of any kind incurred while participating in the Event.
Participants must behave responsibly, respect private property, the natural environment, and other visitors at all times.
Photos tagged with #winterquest #HogsbackWinterCelebration #visithogsback may be featured in future Hogsback promotions. By posting and entering the event, you’re granting permission for your pictures to be used.
Participants must follow any posted instructions at quest locations.
The organisers reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time if reasonably required to ensure fair play and safe participation.
